The house is a historic 3 bedroom, 2 bath home originally built in 1933. A major addition and renovation was completed in 1998. Since that time, the house has been continually updated and enhanced. The 1998 renovation kept the original charm and beauty of the cottage, while modernizing and improving the systems, plumbing, electric, etc. It is one of the few beachfront houses that comes with a large private pool and a sundeck overlooking the beach. It comes equipped with an immaculately clean full kitchen, including dinnerware, cookware, a microwave oven, stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator with ice maker. In addition to the separate dining room, there is a breakfast bar that opens to the living room.
The three bedrooms are equipped as follows: The master suite has a king size bed, TV and DVD, and french doors that open to the pool deck and beach.. The rear bedroom has a twin bed with a twin size pop-up trundle, and a TV/DVD. It also has a 4" king size memory foam topper for couples who wish to convert the two twin beds into another King bed. The front bedroom overlooks the beach and pool and has a twin bed with a twin size pull up trundle. It also has a TV and DVD.

The two pictures above show the house before and after the 1998 renovation/expansion. We tried to retain the integrity of the original 1930's structure while updating it for the needs of today's familys. An interesting note about the history of the house: It has been said that the house was utilized by bootleggers during its early years and that a treasure in gold is buried beneath it. The prior owner so believed this legend that she cut a piece out of the floor in the center of the house and searched the ground below witha metal detector. Alas, no treasure was found, but she made me promise to split it with her if we ever found it !! If you look closely at the floor in the living room, in front of the mirror doors, you can see the indentation where the floor was removed.....
